Browns coach Mangini has not decided on starting quarterback

Cleveland Browns new Coach Eric Mangini is in no hurry at all to name a starting quarterback between Brady Quinn and Derek Anderson, and he said that he will go through next week's mandatory minicamp before choosing from the two.

Perhaps Mangini hesitated in choosing a starter because neither Quinn nor Anderson has performed will in the handful of practices over the past month. And Mangini has been looking for a quarterback who can control his presence in the huddle and has ability to execute the offense. Hopefully more fans will pick the jersey of the chosen starter other than jay cutler jersey.

"Who can most effectively run the offense?" Mangini said. "Who can look at the defense, understand what the coverage is and go to the right place with the ball? Who can see a blitz look and put us in the right play?"

Although Mangini will have to choose one from the two quarterbacks, he insists that he wants both will be with the team.Write For Pay
